According to the Delhi airport latest news today Airport to soon have its 4th runway which will be the parallel to its current 11/29 runway which is under contraction 11L/29R.
As per Delhi airport flight news today due to thunderstone and rains in NCR region almost 22 flights were affected by this and they were diverted to the nearest airport such as Jaipur, Dehradun, Chandigarh.
According to the officials out of 22 flights 11 were dived to Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport, Lucknow, 8 flights to Jaipur International Airport and rest to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Dehradun airport.
The Few Flights such As Bengaluru Delhi Indigo FlightAMP 6E6621 was Diverted to Amritsar. Air India Flight AI768 divert to Lucknow Airport
Flights which were not diverted to any other airport got delay by hours or more.
