It is a painful situation of airlines, passengers and even for logistics as it causes a delay in operation because airlines have to replace the aircraft to continue operations and usually airlines have already scheduled the upcoming routes to aircraft and if any aircraft is not airworthy to fly then it will disturb all operations as airlines need to arrange a new aircraft.

When Airlines start using aircraft, they want to utilize it as much as possible to make revenue from it due to it in long term technical or machinal issue arises in aircraft, some issue can be fixed on the spot and aircraft can continue flying but something issues cannot repaired on the spot and had to go for Maintenance, Repair and Operations MRO center.
As per Federal Aviation Administration FAA the recommends that aircraft to me inspect every 400-600 hrs. or 6-8 months which every is earlier. As aircraft is a complex machine made up of so many small parts and making them available at the time is really a difficult task for airlines. Aircraft maintenance engineer are the team of persons responsible for seamless flight operations they are the backbone of aviation industry as they ensure that aircraft is safe for any operations. And done time to time flight checks. Aircraft maintenance engineer normally have 2400 hr. of Couse duration as per Directorate general of civil Aviaton after that exam is to be given for getting license for Aircraft maintenance engineer. This course covers the important aspect coving the knowledge and skill for candidates which will provide the knowledge for the repair, Maintenace and overhaul of the aircraft.
AME has a license issued by Directorate general of civil aviation in India after completion of course.

- Must have an age of 16 years and should be less than 28.
- Must have Physics with math’s in 10+2.
- A B-Tech student can also apply of AME.
- He/she mush be physically fit.
