What is Aircraft?

Airbus A350 Features: A Deep Dive into Air Travel Evolution

An aircraft is a vehicle that can fly in the air by using a lift generated by the wings of the aircraft to gain the lift aircraft uses an engine which can be single or multiple engines that creates a forward motion called the thrust which helps the aircraft to move forwards. Such as the Airbus A350 the best wide-body aircraft.

The most common types of aircraft or airliners based on the body are:

  1. Narrow Body
  2. Wide Body

Narrow body

The Narrow body is mainly used by airlines on short or medium-haul flights or for a domestic flight they offer one aisle seat with 6 passengers in a row. Most of the low-cost carriers used the Narrow body with one or two classes.

The Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 are one of the most famous narrow-body aircraft in the aviation industry used by airlines.

Wide Body

The wide-body aircraft was mainly used by airlines on medium or long-haul flights for international flights. Wide-body aircraft offered twin-aisle seats with 9-10 seats in single rows. They mostly have two or three classes.

“Technological Triumph: The Fly-by-Wire System and Head-up Display in A350”

A- Fly-by-wire system.

Traditionally aircraft control systems used mechanical linkage systems nowadays also used by Boeing which works on cables and pulleys it is a kind of manual system but by wire system works on an electronic system that consists of joy sick where the pilot makes commands and will goes to Flight control computer which transfers the signal to servo valve from where the action will take place. It improves overall safety and increases convenience for the cockpit crew.

B- The Head-up Display (HUD)

The head-up display helps the crew to show important information sight to them without looking down at screens. During take-off and landing it provides information like Speed direction altitude of aircraft and angle of attack.

C- Most efficient one.

The Airbus A350 is the best wide-body aircraft that offers the most efficient aircraft in the market as it’s made of advanced material which is much lighter than aluminum but stronger than other aircraft materials. It used Carbon-fiber reinforced plastic. Aircraft aerodynamics also play a role the aircraft have winglets which are made by the inspiration of birds’ wings which helps in reducing drag and increasing lift.

The aircraft is powered with Royce Trent XWB engines which play a major role in making this aircraft smooth and efficient the engines are made for lower fuel consumption with the best reliability and also the bypass ratios of engines are high which makes the aircraft quietest for long flights and perfect fit for long haul flights. The Airbus A350 burns approx. 9 -10 percent less fuel than Boeing 787.

“Electronically Dimmable Windows: A New Era in Airbus A350 Luxury”

In the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show Airbus showcased its plan to introduce the Airbus A350 with Dimmable Windows that we have already seen in the Boeing 787. This technology is called Electronically dimmable windows which is a new technology that eliminates the use of Windows shades and gives the option to passengers to dim their windows according to their needs.

The electronically dimmable windows are designed by the Gentex Corporation, and they are upgrading their technology with darker windows that can eliminate 99.99% of light and also increase the speed of transition allowing increasing air condition efficiency.

STARLUX Airlines will be the first customer of have to get Airbus A350 with electronic dimmable Windows.  As per the news, Lufthansa Airlines’ Airbus major customer is not interested in the Dimmable Windows program as they canceled some orders and also opted out for the electronically dimmable windows.

The electronic dimming windows have some issues in Boeing 787 the speed of dimming is slow and also at peak dark mode the light passes the windows also cabin crew has control of the windows and sometimes even blocks the windows.
